Remember Josiah?

Josiah Leming“American Idol” fan and future New Yorker, Brian Barney,
caught the Josiah Leming show last Friday in Los Angeles at the Hotel Café.
Josiah, who has built quite a following since his expulsion from “Idol,”
has been able jump start his career without even making the Top 24. It just
goes to show, you don’t have to be the winner of “Idol” to be a winner
from “Idol.” Here’s what Brian had to say about the show:

“The show was great. There were probably 150 or so people. Actor Ethan
Suplee (of “My Name is Earl”) and Spiderman’s Tobey Maguire both made
an appearance. Other famous musicians (who I am unfamiliar with but were
pointed out to me) were there as well.

“Josiah packed the house, then brought it down. It was great. You can
read a wide variety of reaction from fans on his MySpace page, too, if you
scroll through the comments section. People posted pictures, video, etc…

“According to some interview with Randy Jackson, a few labels are looking
at him. He’s apparently going to announce a summer tour for this year, so
it’s probably a safe bet he will do a show in New York.”

Well we’ll just have to wait and see. But I won’t hold my breath, at
least not for now.
